On this recording the mix is good, but the Music is Traditional Jazz, witch I find rather boring. This is a multichannel SACDMy rating is based on how I like the Music and the Multichannel mix. I'm more in to modern chilled jazz.
I haven't even heard it on an SACD player, but the regular cd format sounds superb. Great sounding CD. A good mix of songs too.
This is a really good sampler for those who are introducing in Jazz world, the standards are popular and easy listening, as the Sonny Rollins Airgin version with some latino touch. Recommended.
I'm not disappoint when listen to this album, each track on this album is very well selected. The CD layer also very good when compare to SACD layer.One of my favorite album. I rate 5 star for the music, 5 star for sound quality and 4 star for surround mix. I enjoy even when I listen with red book player.
I am very pleasure when I heard this SACD, all the sound is clear and the multichannel works like a different instruments places around my room.
